processing facility is equipped with necessary infrastructure
supported by trained manpower operating through defined
procedures to catalog, process, qualify and disseminate the
satellite data products based on user needs. This involves offering user
services like satellite downlink scheduling, data selection,
ordering & distribution and data product generation
through automatic work flow management to deliver quality
verified products in digital and photographic media. The
product generation activity is supported by quality evaluation
process to assess the quality of the acquisitions and evaluate
processing systems for sustaining and improving the quality of
the data products. It also involves maintaining archives of
the huge volumes of acquisitions in a suitable form on a media
and ensuring efficient retrievability for the data. Support
for setting up IRS data processing facilities at user locations to
acquire and process the data at user site. Necessary expertise
for system engineering, design and develop in order to keep
the facility upgraded with the contemporary technologies
