Karakoram range in the Himalayas is the
longest glacier in the Karakoram mountain and
Snow and second-longest in the world’s non-polar areas.
Resourcesat-2 LISS-IV sensor acquired vivid
Ice images of the glacier, with the extended length
clearly visible as white curving trail of ice and snow
making its way down from the gigantic mountains
of the Karakoram range.
