Who can buy IRS data

Indian Space Policy -2023

Satellite data is disseminated to Government Entities(GE) and Non Government Entities(NGE) for carrying out various projects. Users who are categorized as Government Entities(GE) will have 'Open Access' to Satellite data products of GSD finer than 5m(except for some customized products, like Merged products, Mosaic products, DEM of 10m or better posting etc.) and can access data through Bhoonidhi the web portal.

Non Government users are redirected to NSIL for procuring data products finer than 5m GSD at fair prices. Government Entities may fill in the GE declaration form and submit to NRSC for due process.

Data finer than 5m GSD, Mosaics & Cartosat-1 DEM products are priced and can be browsed and ordered through bhoonidhi portal. For further details on data ordering and buying procedures you may contact NSIL, [email protected]
