Regional Remote Sensing Centres (RRSCs) are located at Kolkata (RC-East), Jodhpur (RC-West), Bangalore (RC-South) and Nagpur (RC-Central) and at Delhi (RC-North) with its headquarters at NRSC, Hyderabad.
Regional centres are working in close coordination with NRSC, Hyderabad for execution of various national level remote sensing application projects, capacity building. Several studies are being conducted which are the specific requirement of the state / region of a Centre. Region specific applications are being developed for increasing the user base, regional geo-spatial database / repositories for generation of customised database and provide the analytics.
