Regional Remote Sensing Centre - Central is located at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Its expertise spans in areas of agriculture, forestry & wildlife, mineral exploration, groundwater management, infrastructure planning, urban and rural development and many other fields. The Centre plays a crucial role in delivering solutions for sustainable development, governance, and resource management by leveraging cutting-edge Earth observation technologies and other geo-ICT tools. The Centre also provides capacity building / training in the area of geospatial technologies to various government departments, NGEs and academia.
