Regional Centres is an entity of NRSC focused on Research & Development, User projects for States, Ministries, Academia, Industry and Outreach & Capacity Building in the areas of Space based Remote Sensing Applications across the country through dedicated five Regional Remote Sensing Centres – North located in New Delhi, South located in Bengaluru, East located in Kolkata, West located in Jodhpur and Central located in Nagpur.

With Chief General Manager, Regional Centres leading the team of five RRSCs, rich and diverse expertise in the fields of Agriculture, Water Resources, Forestry, Ocean Sciences, Aried Regions, Atmospheric, cutting-edge technologies like AI / ML, Mobile Apps and e-governance Apps drive the Research and Development activities in respective regions. Strong infrastructure and scientific instrumentation along with Capacity Building centres with Outreach & Training Facilities and Exhibition Facilities turn Regional Centres into centres of excellence in delivering optimized solutions in Space based activities.

CGM, RCs Office is situated in Antariksh Bhavan, New Delhi with supporting office in NRSC, Balanagar.
